Adriana Affortunati: "I often use historical events and elements to influence my research although, to produce, I depend on a spontaneous or intentional encounter with objects that I claim as art material. I select old objects already injured out by time; their stains and rust are seen as graphic or pictorial elements that compose the artwork, as well as their natural colours and textures."

Tchelo: "A pure element that in its simplicity can reach sometimes antagonistic meanings, the line can unite or divide, may be border or path, margin or pass, unity or sequence, design or word, body, space or time. With this thematic variety I explore the possibilities of the different visual arts media using repetition, accumulation, consumption, breakdown and reconfiguration of materials and materials."
